this card. Weber let the fans in free rather than pay a suddenly discovered $200 state tax never before levied against a wrestling promoter.

Amateur Match: George Harben and Bobby Stewart went to a draw > Jack Ross over Jack Evans (01) > Jim Hesslyn over Dick Lever /
Notes: It was reported that 60% of the proceeds from this card were donated to the Georgia Democratic Party campaign, perhaps as a
result of the state tax action taken two weeks earlier. Stewart eventually turned professional and became famous as the Golden Terror
(01).
