APRIL 16 (TUESDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – LOEW’S GRAND THEATRE (Bill Hartman and Thad Holt – Promoters / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Tiny Morgan defeated John Grandovich > Marvin Jones defeated Juan Humberto by disqualification > NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Ray Steele* defeated Hans Schnabel / Notes: Ray Steele had been the reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Bronko Nagurski in St. Louis, MO, on March 7, 1940. This version was the one recognized by the National Boxing Association as the National Wrestling Association.

APRIL 23 (TUESDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – PONCE de LEON BALL PARK (Bill Hartman and Thad Holt – Promoters / Georgia Championship Wrestling) > Tom Hanley defeated Tiny Morgan > Jack Kennedy defeated Gordon McKenzie > Dorv Roche defeated Cowboy Luttrall by disqualification / Notes: It was reported that 3,000 were in attendance for this card. Jack Dempsey was the special referee for the match between Dorv Roche and Cowboy Luttrall.
