It also mentioned that this was the Atlanta debut of Ray Gunkel. There was an advertisement that Roy Rogers and Dale Evans would be appearing at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium on May 1, 1953, for a special western entertainment show, along with their horse Trigger, dog Bullet, singers, and stunt specialists. It was announced that Dan O’Connor and Pedro Godoy would be wrestling in Atlanta soon. It was also announced that Sonny Myers would be on the card on May 8, 1953, as would guest ring announcer Wayne Griffin.
