Following the Graham/Steinborn-Assassins match, Graham’s head was bleeding badly, and he claimed Assassin #2 had
something in his mask that caused the injury. Graham and Steinborn had been the reigning United Tag Team Champions as recognized
by the Tampa, FL, office since they went over Tojo Yamamoto and Taro Myaki (02) on November 30, 1961, in Jacksonville, FL. It is unclear
as to how the Gaullois’ came to be recognized as International Tag Team Champions. The last reference we have shows Gypsy Joe
and Skull Murphy defending the title against Bill Dromo and Chief Little Eagle on April 3, 1961, in Augusta. It was announced that Rito
Carreon and Tito Carreon would be wrestling on the card on January 12, 1962, and that Pat O’Connor, and Kurt Von Brauner and
Karl Von Brauner, along with manager Saul Weingeroff, would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.
