(01) (Assassin #1 (01) and Assassin #2 (01)) on March 27, 1970, in Atlanta, were still recognized as champions in the program for the
card on May 1, 1970. O’Dell managed Colt. It was announced that Bockwinkel would defend the Georgia Heavyweight Title against
DeMarco on July 10, 1970.

toehold attempting to force him to submit, and Colt ran in the ring and attacked Fuller. Robert Fuller came to the ring to help, but not
before Von Stroheim came to the ring and turned the tables. O’Dell managed Colt and Von Stroheim. Bockwinkel had been the
reigning Georgia Heavyweight Champion since he went over Assassin #1 (01) on April 17, 1970. Charlie Smith was credited as being a
referee for this card. It was announced that the NWA had lifted the suspension of the Assassins (01) (Assassin #1 (01) and Assassin #2
(01)), under the condition that they wear different masks and tights to the ring.

headgear their opponents wore during the match had them at an unfair advantage, as they alleged that the helmets may have been
greased up prior to the match. Jones said he and the championship committee would investigate and make a ruling at a later date.
