he went over the Stomper in July 1972, although when he left that territory, he lost recognition there. As a result, this version defended in
Florida, as well as for the Tampa, FL, office during this period, was seen as a different version than the one Watts had actually won.

Bob Orton, Jr. / Notes: This was taped for the “Georgia Championship Wrestling television program hosted by Gordon Solie and
Les Thatcher. George, Jr., was escorted to the ring by his valet Frenchy. Following the Shane/George, Jr.-Armstrong/Fuller match, the title
was held up pending a rematch on December 21, 1973. This was done because Bill Watts had approached ringside during the match
and handed something to Shane, who then seemed to put the object against the face of Fuller, making it possible for a pinfall over the
suddenly unconscious Fuller. Afterward, a piece of cloth was discovered underneath the ring, but as Jones could not prove the cloth was
the object used, he made the decision to hold up the title and have a rematch. Armstrong and Fuller had been the reigning Georgia Tag
Team Champions since they went over Bobby Duncum and Stan Vachon on October 27, 1973, in Atlanta.

Inferno #1 & Super Inferno #2 (01))* by disqualification to win the title / Notes: Gary Hart managed Angus and the Samoans. J.C. Dykes
managed the Infernos. The Infernos had been the reigning Southeastern Tag Team Champions since they went over Armstrong and
Soto on November 27, 1973, in Macon. George, Jr., was escorted to the ring by his valet Frenchy. Following the Thatcher-Shane match,
Ward overruled referee Frank Cochran for not reversing his decision after Ward informed him that Shane had used an illegal object
leading to a pinfall, and placed Cochran on probation for his refusal to do so. Ward also suspended Shane indefinitely for his actions.

December 18, 1973 (Tuesday) – Atlanta, GA – Atlanta Municipal Auditorium [P] (Ann Gunkel – Promoter / All-South Wrestling

and the Enforcer became recognized as Georgia Tag Team Champions. The last reference we have shows Hunter and Assassin #2

reigning Georgia Television Champion since he went over Seigler on October 27, 1973, in Atlanta. Baker had been the reigning United
States Heavyweight Champion since he went over Pepper Gomez on July 24, 1973, in Atlanta. Ringo participated in an autograph
session for fans.

versus the Samoans (01) (Tio & Tapu) > Robert Fuller versus Gorgeous George, Jr. > Bill Miller & Luke Graham versus Roberto Soto &
Rufus R. Jones > Cage Match (No Disqualification / No Time Limit): Bob Armstrong & Mr. Wrestling #2 (01) versus the Super Infernos

Team Title Match (Disqualification Rule Waived): Bobby Shane & Gorgeous George, Jr., over Bob Armstrong & Robert Fuller by
disqualification to win the title > Georgia Heavyweight Title Match (Disqualification Rule Waived): Ron Fuller over Bill Watts* to win the title
/ Notes: Gary Hart managed Angus and the Samoans. George, Jr., was escorted to the ring by his valet Frenchy. The Shane/George, Jr.-
Armstrong/Fuller match was a rematch from December 15, 1973. Armstrong and Fuller had been the reigning Georgia Tag Team
Champions since they went over Bobby Duncum and Stan Vachon on October 27, 1973, in Atlanta. However, the title had been held up
following their match on December 15, 1973, in Atlanta, pending this rematch. Haystacks Calhoun was the special referee for the Fuller-
Watts match. Watts had been the reigning Georgia Heavyweight Champion since he went over Wrestling #2 on November 2, 1973, in
Atlanta. It was reported that Wrestling #2 had filed a protest with the NWA, demanding a rematch against Watts for the Georgia
Heavyweight Title, but with Fuller going over Watts on this card, it became a moot point. The program for this card had a section wishing
everyone happy holidays from “Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jones and employees of Mid-South Sports, Inc: Jim Bell, Les Thatcher, Louise
Manning, Helen Usry, and Freddie Miller.

December 22, 1973 (Saturday) – Atlanta, GA – WTCG Studios (Ann Gunkel – Promoter / All-South Wrestling Alliance) > Georgia

Disqualification Match: Bob Armstrong & Robert Fuller over the Super Infernos (02) (Super Inferno #1 & Super Inferno #2 (01)) / Notes: It
was reported that 5,500 were in attendance for this card. Gary Hart managed Angus and the Samoans. George, Jr., was escorted to the
ring by his valet Frenchy. J.C. Dykes was handcuffed to Dromo during the Armstrong/Fuller-Infernos match. There were two referees for
the match. Dykes managed the Infernos. The program for this card mentioned that Armstrong was the Southeastern Heavyweight
Champion at the time. It is unclear as to how he came to be recognized as such. The last reference we have is a reference in the
November 14, 1973, program, which references him as champion. Prior to that, we have Armstrong wrestling Buddy Colt in a rematch for
the held up title on September 5, 1973, in Macon, but no result of that match has been found at this time. Colt had been billed as
Southeastern Heavyweight Champion since, but the title had been held up following a match against Armstrong on August 22, 1973,
pending the aforementioned rematch. It also mentioned that George, Jr., and Bobby Shane were the Macon Tag Team Champions at the
time. It was announced that Rufus R. Jones, Bobo Johnson, Bobo Brazil, Frenchy Lamont, and Stan Vachon would be wrestling in Macon
soon.

December 28, 1973 (Friday) – Atlanta, GA – Atlanta Municipal Auditorium [P] (Paul Jones (01) – Promoter / Georgia Championship

managed Shane, George, Jr., and the Samoans. Shane and George, Jr., had been the reigning Georgia Tag Team Champions since
they went over Armstrong and Fuller on December 21, 1973, in Atlanta. The Watts-Blassie match was a rematch from December 14,
1973, whereas the title had been held up. Watts had been billed as North American Heavyweight Champion, as recognized by the Tulsa,
OK, office, since he went over the Stomper in July 1972, although when he left that territory, he lost recognition there. As a result, this
version defended in Florida, as well as for the Tampa, FL, office during this period, was seen as a different version than the one Watts
had actually won. Following the Brisco-Woods match, Wrestling #2 attacked Woods. Brisco had been the reigning NWA World
Heavyweight Champion since he went over Harley Race on July 20, 1973, in Houston, TX. The program for this card mentioned that Hart
had contacted his mother for the additional money required to manage Shane and George. George, Jr., was escorted to the ring by his
valet Frenchy. It was announced that Terry Garvin would be wrestling in Atlanta soon.

December 29, 1973 (Saturday) – Atlanta, GA – WTCG Studios (Ann Gunkel – Promoter / All-South Wrestling Alliance) > Lanny Poffo

Solie and Les Thatcher. Wrestling #2 joined Solie and Thatcher to explain why he attacked Woods on December 28, 1973, in Atlanta. He
announced he was tired of seeing Woods get all the shots at the NWA World Heavyweight Title and he vowed to show everyone he was
the better man. Gary Hart managed Shane and George, Jr. George, Jr., was escorted to the ring by his valet Frenchy. It was reported that
during the Shane/George, Jr.-Woods/Thatcher match, Woods injured the left shoulder of George, Jr.
