| Due to popular demand, and the fact that time constraints have very much delayed our goal of fully detailing each card and completing a career record for everyone who has been documented as having appeared in Georgia, we are going to go ahead and return the cards and results for the 1970s and 1980s. We had hoped to continue returning this information to the site on a gradual basis as we completed them in a yearly process. However, though we are not satisfied with the completeness of the information, the information that will reappear is as accurate as we have been able to document. As always, GWH’s Cards and Results section is a constant work-in-progress, and we will continue to strive to complete all of this information, as well as the career records as found in our Who’s Who section, as time allows. Thanks for your continued support and patience as we attempt to pull all of this material together in the most accurate and complete form possible.

Within the program for this card, there is a full-page advertisement for “Georgia Championship Wrestling”, providing the first information we have regarding tapings. We know that the WTCG studios at this time were on West Peachtree Street, but here we learn that tapings began at 3:00 PM, meaning very little room for editing could be done by the 6:00 PM airing of the program. Also in this program is information on where the show can be seen outside of the Atlanta area: Channel 12 WRDW in Augusta (2:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday) and Savannah has two locations (2:30 to 3:30 PM Saturday on Channel 22 WJCL and 11:00 PM to Midnight Saturday on Channel 11 WTOC). The Augusta and Savannah episodes were one week behind the Atlanta version. There is also the first reference to local radio personality Jim Bell working on the Atlanta staff, as he was handling chores as Ring Announcer, and was also apparently assisting in putting the event programs together.
