Atlanta – Many persons indulged in utterances of disapproval and not a few cried, 'It's a sell! All that was fixed! It's a hippodrome!' ... A prominent gentleman said, as he left the hall in disgust, 'Undoubtedly it is a fraud, pure and simple. Before coming into the hall I had an idea it would prove a farce. I was almost certain Muhler would win the match. Why? Because the money on one side was put up by a Texas gentleman, and the money to cover it was put up by Muhler. That explains it.' Said another, reputable citizen: 'One more such a farce will kill the wrestling business in Atlanta. The contest was obviously arranged in advance.
