Atlanta – Charles B. Sprott, a professional wrestler known as "Ricky Hunter" and also "the Gladiator," Wednesday sued the "world champion" identified as Jack Brisco, for slander and harassment.

Sprott asked U.S. District Court to award him $75,000 plus any business losses. Sprott said Brisco called him the names on July 21 in the parking lot of WTCG-TV Channel 17, 1018 W. Peachtree St.

The alleged name-calling occurred "in hearing distance of a number of wrestling fans" who were waiting to see television taping of a wrestling match, Sprott's suit said.
