| TERRY FUNK: More Than Just Hardcore
Release Date: March 2005 / Authors: Terry Funk and Scott E. Williams / Publisher: Sports Publishing DESCRIPTION This is the story of the life and career of unpredictable former professional wrestling star Terry Funk, known around the world as "The Hardcore Legend." REVIEWS Crimson Mask: Very good book. Terry's sense of humor and honesty about himself keep it engaging. Some great insight into how things worked in the business in the last half of the 20th Century. A bit shaky on facts and dates sometimes. Still, highly recommended. Rich Tate: One of the better books relating to the business. Funk told interesting stories about his entire career, especially opening up a lot on a forgotten promotion his family ran in Amarillo. I read it in full in record time, as I found it hard to bookmark for a later visit. I have used it for reference many times since. Recommend you stop what you are doing right now and seek it out. Trent Van Drisse: I read this book and I did like it. I can't help but think that Terry Funk had a better book in him though. I recommend this book, but it's not all it could have been.
