THE HISTORY OF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

Release Date: February 2007 / Authors: Derek Bush with Graham Cawthon, Mike Rodgers, Peter Tavares, Becky Taylor, and James Zordani / Self-Published through Bush-Arch

REVIEW

Rich Tate: Noted as a “first edition”, this is the most comprehensive compilation of results for this promotion available.  It is very well put together and easy to use.  It will be one of the best reference sources you could have for a snapshot of WCW.  It features a ton of results, attendance figures, all of the title histories, and even a week-by-week comparison of television ratings against its primary competitor, WWE.  The book consists of nearly 800 pages, though it could have been about half of that with a bit more effort.  Still, it is well worth the cost, as it will undoubtedly be scoured though time and time again.  Highly recommended.
