| The father and son team of Bob and Brad Armstrong debuted for Georgia Championship Wrestling during November 1981. Within a few short weeks they had already faced Ole and Gene Anderson for the World Tag Team Title, but most importantly won the National Tag Team Title tournament. Although they lost the title within two months, they remained popular with the fans, who supported the in feuds with teams like Kevin Sullivan and Buzz Sawyer, John Studd and the Super Destroyer, and the Wild Samoans, through their two year run in the state. They also worked for Jim Crockett Promotions in the mid 1980s, and can still today be found working independent cards throughout Georgia. |
