TERRY FUNK: More Than Just Hardcore
Release Date: March 2005 / Authors: Terry Funk and Scott E. Williams / Publisher: Sports Publishing
--- Very good book. Terry's sense of humor and honesty about himself keep it engaging. Some great insight into
how things worked in the business in the last half of the 20th Century. A bit shaky on facts and dates sometimes.
Still, highly recommended. (Crimson Mask)
--- One of the better books relating to the business.  Funk told interesting stories about his entire career,
especially opening up a lot on a forgotten promotion his family ran in Amarillo.  I read it in full in record time, as I
found it hard to bookmark for a later visit.  I have used it for reference many times since.  Recommend you stop
what you are doing right now and seek it out. (Rich Tate)
--- I read this book and I did like it. I can't help but think that Terry Funk had a better book in him though. I
recommend this book, but it's not all it could have been. (Trent Van Drisse)

TITO SANTANA: Tales from the Ring
Release Date: May 2008 / Author(s): Tito Santana and Tom Caiazzo / Publisher: Sports Publishing
--- Although not as long as I would have liked, the book is also not too bogged down with mundane detail and
trash talking. Tito tells his story in brief concise passages, only ripping those whom he feels truly wronged him
at some point, while pointing out the positives of those he feels had his best interests in mind as well as making
money. I found the book to be quite refreshing from many that spend the entirety tearing down others while
putting themselves over, and never a dull read. There are extremely funny stories throughout, and his love of both
family and wrestling cannot be questioned. Highly recommended. (Rich Tate)
