| January 29, 2007 Nattie Neidhart and T.J. Wilson of Stampede Wrestling have been signed to developmental deals with World Wrestling Entertainment, and will be moving to Atlanta to work with Deep South Wrestling. They made their final appearances for Stampede on Friday night. For those who are interested, Undertaker won the Royal Rumble last night in San Antonio, after managing to avoid a superkick by Shawn Michaels at the end. John Cena retained the WWE Title against Umaga. Other winners included Batista remained World Champion (over Mr. Kennedy), Bobby Lashley kept his ECW Title (over Test by countout), and the Hardy Boyz (over MNM). One of our writers, Larry Goodman, works hard to see as many shows in and around Georgia as he can, and provides great insight into the local promotions. However, he cannot possibly make every show. We are looking for people who can contribute similar pieces of their local wrestling events. If you regularly attend shows in your area, and can provide an unbiased article on the matches and goings-on, please email me. |
