Funeral arrangements for Doug Gentry, formerly of Ring of Honor and RF Video, have been announced, with services set for February 1.
Wrestlers and fans are invited to attend the wake and mass, beginning at 9:30, at the St. Christopher Church in Philadelphia, PA.
Services will conclude at the Resurrection Cemetery in Cornwells Heights, PA.

It has been reported that Robert Gibson, most known as a member of the Rock & Roll Express with Ricky Morton, has taken a position
with
World Wrestling Entertainment.  Apparently, he has been assigned to work with young talent in the developmental stages.

A few days ago here, it was posted that the series
Armed and Famous, featuring Trish Stratus, had been cancelled.  Leave it to a network
under the
MTV umbrella to pick it up and air the final un-aired episode, following the handful of episodes that already tanked on CBS.
The
VH-1 marathon will begin at 5:00 ET on February 3, with the un-aired episode at 9:00 ET.

Speaking of VH-1 and wrestling links, Hulk Hogan has joined the infomercial world.  Look out, George Foreman!  Here comes the
Hulk
Hogan Ultimate Grill from Tri-Star Products.  Hogan’s daughter Brooke is also in the news again.  She will be featured on MTV’s
I’m From Rolling Stone next month.

Former WCW and WWE star Stacy Keibler can be seen February 12 on the
ABC show What About Brian.  Playing herself, she will be a
recurring guest for seven episodes, appearing as a “neighbor-next-doorâ€.  She reportedly has also signed on to do some work on
the
George Lopez Show, seen on the same network.

From the “just plain weird department, high school wrestling has ceased in Minnesota due to a large outbreak of herpes
gladiatorum.  Thus far, members from 10 different teams have reported 24 cases.  All competition will be stopped until the situation is
controlled.

Keep an eye out for
Larry Goodman this weekend if you attend NWA Anarchy’s Unhinged in Cornelia on February 3.  In case you
cannot attend the show, look for his recap here on Sunday.  I should mention that if your local television outlet does not provide Anarchyâ
€™s programs, you can watch online by visiting the
SuperStation site, which features Anarchy along with other promotions.
