Ring of Honor has a new world champion.  Last night in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Takeshi Morishima defeated Homicide for the title.

The
International Fight League is coming to Atlanta’s Gwinnett Center on February 23.  Click here for an article on the league and event from the Sunday Paper.

NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield, who drives for Bill Davis Racing in the number 36 Toyota Camry, failed to qualify for today’s Daytona 500.  However, keep your eyes on him this season, as the 360 OTC sponsored car sports a WWE decal on the rear quarter panel.

There are still spots open for next Saturday’s Nashville Wrestling Camp in Tennessee, with WWE’s Director of Developmental Talent Mike Bucci (a/k/a Simon Dean).  The session begins at 9 AM CT, and the cost is $225.  For more information on how you can participate, email championship7@aol.com.

An interesting bit of history is being auctioned on
eBay.  There are about four days – as of this writing – left to bid on a 1954 yearbook from Bruno Sammartino’s junior year at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Schenley High School.  Click here to view the item.

I am still looking for help in contacting Sean Evans.  If you can help, please have him
email me.  I sent an email to him, but he has not responded.  Many people have been inquiring about his health, and I would like to be able to update everyone.

Today marks one week to go for the charity ride to help the Wayne Harrell (a/k/a Jim Nelson and Boris Zhukov) family.  Click
here for info on the event.

If you have never attended the Gulf Coast Wrestling Reunion, scheduled for March 2-3 in Mobile, Alabama, and would like to know how you can, please email
Percy Pringle.  The event is closed to the general public, and is limited to people who have been in the business as a wrestler, manager, referee, promoter, or some other associated form.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, Percy will be able to make that determination.

There is just about two months left until the
Cauliflower Alley Club 2007 Reunion, taking place April 19 through April 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Riviera Hotel.  Those who have been announced as recipients for awards this year include Don Leo Jonathan, Danny Hodge, Bob Kelly, J.J. Dillon, Bob Geigel, Tito Carreon, Rock Riddle, and Duke Myers.  Pepper Martin will be emceeing the events.  Click here for info.
