It is being reported that Donald Trump has chosen Bobby Lashley in his WWE angle with Vince McMahon, who has reportedly selected Umaga to take care of his end of business.

There was an article in the most recent Sunday edition of the
Hendersonville Times-News on Ivan Koloff.  Click here for the article.  Also, don’t forget Koloff just published a book with Crowbar Press, titled Is That Wrestling Fake?: the Bear Facts, co-written by Scott Teal, with additional chapters authored by Ivan’s wife Renae, as well as Blackjack Mulligan.

It was reported that Baron Von Raschke was the only wrestler who attended last Saturday’s funeral for
Jim Melby.  Eulogies were delivered by longtime friend and fellow historian George Schire and Bill Fernow of Slam! Wrestling.  Mick Karch, former television announcer for Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association was among those who went to pay respects to the legendary writer, publisher, and historian.

The services for Michael Alfonso (a/k/a Mike Awesome) have been announced.  Alfonso’s body was discovered last Saturday night at his home, following an apparent suicide by hanging.  He was 42, and had most recently been employed as a sales associate in the Tampa, Florida, area for
Coldwell Banker.  Between 6:00-8:00 PM ET Thursday, the family will be receiving friends at the Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, Florida.  A celebration of his life will be held the following morning at the same location at 10:00 AM ET.  The family is asking that anyone wishing to send flowers to instead submit donations to the American Diabetes Association in Michael’s name, to the address of 4902 Eisenhower Boulevard, #295, Tampa, Florida, 33634.

It turns out that
MTV has agreed to air the fourth episode of WSX after a brief hiatus following an incident where a fireball was thrown at Vampiro.  It will be broadcast on February 27 at 10:30 PM ET, and the remaining six episodes already taped will resume weekly in that same time slot.

Be sure to watch
TNA’s Impact this week.  Former Atlanta Falcons receiver Andre Rison makes an appearance, and is attacked by Abyss.  The episode, taped earlier this week in Orlando, Florida, features Abyss using his “Black Hole Slam” on Rison, who says he hopes this will not be the last time he is involved with TNA.  The episode can be seen on Spike TV Thursday night at 9:00 PM ET.

GWH has a new sponsor.  Joining
