Stan Hansen will be the featured guest tonight on Evan Ginzburg’s Legends show, which is broadcast live from 8-10:00 PM. Click here to listen to last week’s show with Bruno Sammartino. Tod Gordon and Brad Anderson appear on tonight’s In Your Head radio show, starting at 8:00 PM ET. Irvin Muchnick, author of Wrestling Babylon: Piledriving Tales of Drugs, Sex, Death, and Scandal, will be a guest on Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Live show June 10, which airs from 8-10:00 PM ET. ECW Press, who published the book, sent us a copy for review, and we should have that up within the next week or so. We are also working on reviews for Tim Hornbaker’s National Wrestling Alliance: the Untold Story of the Monopoly That Strangled Pro Wrestling, also from ECW Press. Those should be up this weekend. Scott Steiner, injured this past weekend during a match in San Juan, PR, is in stable condition following trachea surgery performed yesterday. However, he will be recovering in the intensive care unit for a couple more days. Live local wrestling this week includes events from the WWA4 (Thursday in Atlanta); Dropkick Pro Wrestling (Saturday in Macon); Flatline Championship Wrestling (Saturday in Grovetown); Pro Wrestling Evolution (Saturday in Trion); and Wrestling Beyond Imagination (Sunday in Atlanta). Click here for more info. We reported yesterday that we had unconfirmed reports that Deep South Wrestling would have it’s return show within the next couple of weeks. Jody Hamilton has indeed confirmed to me that is his intention, and that as soon as he firms up the date, we will be the first to know it. Stay tuned. It has been reported to us that the previously announced All-Star Championship Wrestling card scheduled for Carrollton for June 12 has been moved back to July 17.
