Ricky Morton Cancels UWF Appearances
It is being reported that Ricky Morton has cancelled his appearance at tonight’s United Wrestling Federation event in Charleston, SC,
citing payment disputes as the reason.
He says not only did the UWF begin advertising him before he had even been contacted, but they created the ‘First Annual Rock ‘nâ
€™ Roll Express Tag Team Tournament before he had even been consulted.
Morton apparently learned that Robert Gibson would be making three times more than he would for the event. After reportedly speaking
with UWF chief Hermie Sadler in an attempt to resolve the issue, he made the decision to pull out, saying he felt disrespected.
Morton is saying he will never work with UWF again.
