| July 22, 2007 Great Championship Wrestling Results – Phenix City, AL Great Championship Wrestling results from Phenix City, AL, on July 21: Jonathan Davis over Randall Johnson; A.J. Steele over Ruben James; Luke Robinson Michaels (with Quentin Michaels) over Frankie Valentine; Scotty Beach over Deathrow by disqualification to retain the GCW Heavyweight Title; and David Young & Chris Stevens over Johnny Swinger & Bull Buchanan (with Quentin Michaels) to retain the GCW Tag Team Title when Swinger and Buchanan turned on each other, providing enough distraction for Young to pin Swinger. It was reported that attendance was around 200. The next card is set for July 28, with announcements that Scotty Beach will defend his title again. It was also mentioned that David Young will face Johnny Swinger and Chris Stevens will meet Bull Buchanan. |
