| July 23, 2007 Article from Variety on WWE Television Ratings Though it is still too early to make a clear determination of the affect the Benoit tragedy will have on the long term viewing habits of wrestling fans, there is an interesting article in Variety discussing the initial drop in ratings. One report we have seen elsewhere is that last week’s RAW broadcast was a 3.4, reportedly a nine-year low for a summer episode. That same report stated WWE has excused it away as competing against the Home Run Derby that night. Click here for the article. |
