Press Release from AWA World-1 South
From AWA World-1 South:
The Third Annual World-1 Old School Tag Team Tournament will be held January 19 and 20, 2008, in Cordele and Valdosta, respectively.
World-1 will not be running any more "house" shows this year, but we are aggressively seeking paid shows as fundraisers with schools,
civic organizations, etc.
Expect to see a lot of World-1 stars to wrestle for our AWA sister promotion – the Great American Wrestling Federation – this fall in
Americus and Thomasville.
Our ultimate goal continues to be to purchase our own building and run weekly shows in middle Georgia. However, that may be a couple
of years away.
We are using these months off to develop a plan to make this company profitable, and to promote the Tag Team Tournament.
