| July 30, 2007 More Preemptions on Nancy Grace The special they had pieced together titled “Drugs in Wrestling”, that was originally to air last Tuesday, along with an appearance by Joanie Laurer (a/k/a Chyna), was moved to Wednesday, then Thursday, and finally Friday of last week. The incidents involving Lindsay Lohan and Michael Vick have pushed it to the backburner, and Laurer informed Grace she would not be available this week. So then on Friday, it was announced the piece would air tonight, with Marc Mero and Bryan Alvarez as guests. Once again, the story was bumped for the latest news on the dogfighting case of Michael Vick and three other defendants. We have no idea when it will air, but it is clear that until something further develops, such as the potential investigation of steroids in wrestling, the story has, for the most part, died. However, based on the interest the story had in elevating the ratings of Grace’s show, among others, when something else occurs, you can almost guarantee more extensive coverage. |
