Developments in Case Against Dr. Astin
Manny Arora, attorney for Dr. Phil C. Astin III, accused of overprescribing medication to Chris Benoit, filed a motion today to suppress
evidence.
In those papers, it is reported that Arora claimed the legitimate uses of steroids were not known to the judge who issued warrants
allowing agents to raid and seize items to investigate his client. “The amount of medication in question was not excessive and would
be medically appropriate based on the medical condition of Mr. Benoit,� Arora wrote.
