Changes at GWH Regarding Currently Active Promotions
For the majority of 2007, for more than twenty promotions in and around Georgia, GWH has provided a link to all promotions of which we
were aware on our home page, despite the fact most of them have not bothered to return the favor in any place on their website. We have
also maintained links to their websites in our Current section, where we have also kept an ongoing schedule of known events for each.
An email was sent on August 19 to all currently active promotions in and around Georgia, requesting their assistance in providing
information for their events, results, and news, to us, rather than us spending an enormous amount of our time to research and gather it
on their behalf. There had been previous attempts throughout the year, and while some have worked well with our site, others have
either been sporadic or simply ignored us.
Within the August 19 email, we thanked those who have worked with us, and notified those who have not that as of August 20, unless
they provided us with any news or upcoming events in regard to their promotion that nothing would be posted. Prior to that time, if a
promotion was not providing us with information, we were actively seeking it ourselves, for the sake of having we well-rounded focus on
the local scene.
The email also notified those who have not been working with us that as of September 1, we will no longer maintain a link to their site at
GWH. Thus, as of tomorrow, you will see which promotions have been attempting to help us in our attempts to help them.
To those promotions that have opted to have positive and regular communications with us, we thank you for your appreciation of the time
and effort it takes to put this together for so many different promotions. We look forward to continued associations with you going forward.
The promotions that will continue to be covered as of this writing are as follows: All-Star Championship Wrestling ; Alternative Pro
Wrestling ; AWA World-1 South ; Deep South Wrestling ; Georgia Wrestling Federation ; Georgia Wrestling Promotions ; Great American
Wrestling Federation ; NWA Anarchy ; Southern Classic Wrestling ; Southern Extreme Championship Wrestling ; Ultimate Christian
Wrestling ; and World Wrestling Alliance 4.
As of noon ET tomorrow, the following promotions will be removed unless we hear from you: All-Star Wrestling Network; American
Professional Wrestling Federation; Dropkick Pro Wrestling; Flatline Championship Wrestling; Galaxie Pro Xtreme Wrestling; Georgia
Independent Wrestling Alliance; Georgia Wrestling Alliance; Great Championship Wrestling; Shock Value Wrestling; Southland
Wrestling; and Wrestling Beyond Imagination. If you are a fan of, or are working for, a promotion not listed, feel free to contact us via
email.
If you are with a promotion not listed in either section, and would like to be covered at GWH, email us with info about your promotion.
