World-1 South Announcement

From AWA World-1 South:

We have decided to reschedule the World-1 Old School Tag Team Tournament to later on this year because of the proposed regulations
by the
Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission.  In speaking to Kelly Farr, if the regulations pass, they will go into effect on
January 7, 2008.  This is before the tag team tournament which is scheduled for January 19 and 20.

Since June of 2007, we made commitments to our families that we would not run wrestling in the future, unless there was a realistic
possibility of making a profit or breaking even.  If these regulations pass, it appears that it will be impossible not to lose money on the tag
team tournament.

We will not wait until December 18 to decide whether or not to cancel the tag team tournament.  We want everybody who is booked to be
able to find work elsewhere for that weekend.  Most wrestlers should be able to do so since we are giving around 60 days notice.  We
also would have ordered posters this week to begin promoting.  We will wait until after December 18 to decide when and where the tag
team tournament will be.

World-1 will have a show on Sunday, December 30, 2007, at the Lowndes County Conference Center in Valdosta.  It will be a bit of a
reunion, as we will have current World-1 wrestlers taking on former Spinebuster wrestlers, who have not been on our events in some
time.  Jody Peterman will book the World-1 wrestlers and Ed "Shag" Pitts will book the Spinebuster wrestlers.  Ed was the "mastermind"
of the first two Spinebuster shows some three and a half years ago.  Ed left the promotion after being frustrated with our attempts to get
too big too fast.  This show should be a lot fun to the local Valdosta fans and all our fans.  The card for this show will posted by
December 2.

We will continue to aggressively pursue fundraisers with schools/charity organizations throughout the southeast and look forward to a
great 2008.
