| March 30, 2008 WrestleMania Results From Rich Tate: World Wrestling Entertainment’s WrestleMania XXIV results from the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando tonight: Kane won a twenty-four man battle royal for a shot at the ECW Heavyweight Title later on the card; JBL over Finlay in the Belfast brawl; CM Punk won the money-in-the-bank ladder match over Mr. Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Jericho, Carlito, MVP, and John Morrison; Batista over Umaga; Kane over Chavo Guerrero to win the ECW Heavyweight Title; Shawn Michaels retired Ric Flair; in the “Playboy Bunnymania” lumberjack match, Beth Phoenix & Melina over Ashley & Maria; Randy Orton over John Cena and Triple H in a three-way to retain the WWE Heavyweight Title; Floyd Mayweather over the Big Show via brass knuckles; and the Undertaker over Edge to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. |
