| Friday, May 16, 2008 Update on NWA Atlanta Card on 06/07 From Rich Tate: The National Wrestling Alliance is ramping up the scale of the show to be held at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, on June 7. The event will include hall of fame inductions, although the NWA has actually previously announced all of the honorees the past few years with no formal ceremony. Those being honored are Lou Thesz, Sam Muchnick, Harley Race, Eddie Graham, Dory Funk, Jr., Jim Barnett, Lelani Kai, the Rock & Roll Express, Saul Weingeroff, Gordon Solie, Lance Russell, and Jim Cornette, who will be master of ceremonies. Already being advertised were appearances by Sid Vicious, Rob Conway, and a match featuring NWA Anarchy’s Shatter, Mikal Judas, and Iceberg.
