Bryan Alvarez Coming to 790 the Zone

Atlanta-based WQXI-AM’s 790 the Zone will begin broadcasting Bryan Alvarez’ show on Sunday nights from 8-10:00 PM ET on
June 29. Sixty years ago this week, the station began broadcasting live from the Atlanta Muncipal Auditorium for Paul Jones’
promotion, carrying a main event title match where NWA World Heavyweight Champion Bill Longson defeated Pete Managoff, with Fred
Anderson calling the action. This would continue each week for many years, mostly just featuring main event bouts.
