Florida Championship Wrestling was in Tampa, FL, on July 1 for a TV taping.
Dark Match: Wes Brisco defeated Bill Carr.
Taping #1: Los Aviadores defeated Brodus Clay & Donny Marlow by DQ after the Usos and Tamina interfered; Los Aviadores retained the
FCW Tag Team Championships; Kaval defeated Jackson Andrews in what was a test by FCW champion Alex Riley; if Kaval passes all
the tests, he gets a FCW Championship match; Johnny Curtis defeated Shad Gaspard; Bo Rotundo defeated Derrick Bateman; and
Trent Baretta defeated Jacob Novak.
Taping #2: Donny Marlow & Brodus Clay defeated the Usos (w/ Tamina) by DQ to become the #1 contenders for the FCW Tag Team
Championship after Los Aviadores interfered; Johnny Curtis defeated Michael McGillicutty; Naomi Night defeated Serena and A.J. Lee in
a triple threat to retain the FCW Diva Championship; Bo Rotundo defeated Curt Hawkins; and Kaval defeated Rhys Ali & Jinder Mahal in
the final test by Alex Riley for Kaval.
Taping #3: Percy Watson defeated Big E. Langston; the FCW Championship match between Alex Riley and Kaval ended in a no contest
after the match was stopped due to an injury by Riley; Husky Harris & Eli Cottonwood defeated Percy Watson & Titus O'Neill; Lucky
Cannon defeated Big E. Langston; and Leo Kruger defeated Justin Gabriel.
Notes: Norman Smiley resigned his position as GM and FCW president Steve Keirn announced that they would have a guest host.
Riley's injury during the championship match came when Kaval dropkicked Riley on the floor and Riley's head hit the guardrail.
