Mountain Leavitt after an Atlanta Constitution writer said the 300-pounder was as large as Stone Mountain after seeing his match against Tom Marvin on April 21, 1931.
This was his first match using the new moniker. He had wrestled for some time, but quit after getting married, and had since returned to the business.

Mongol had been the reigning Georgia Heavyweight Champion since he went over Kozak on April 7, 1967, in Atlanta. Jack Crawford managed Mongol. Mario Galento
was advertised, but there was no mention in the reports following the card.
