Tonight a good size crowd saw some great wrestling action as GCW returned for yet another week at the Great Sk8 Plex. Frankie Valentine defeats Death Row by Countout after A.J. Steele started to brawl with Death Row. On the big screen it showed footage from earlier as Johnny Swinger was entering the building. Bull Buchanan said that tonight the roles were reversed. Last week Swinger had a GCW title shot against Scotty Beach, while Buchanan was in a tag title match. Then Bull jokingly asked Johnny if he needed a partner. Swinger told Bull that he has a better partner and his partner is much more attractive. GCW Tag Team Title Match Bad Company(c) (Chris Stevens & David Young) retains by defeating Michaels Inc members Johnny Swinger and Cru Jones with Quentin Michaels after Young nailed Jones with a spinebuster. Before this match began, Michaels brought out the Columbus Heavyweight title, which was the belt that Chris Stevens won back in Jan., before he was kicked out Michaels, Inc. Michaels said that Stevens will not be getting the belt back and tonight the tag titles will be going to Michaels, Inc. After the match, Stevens swore that he will be getting the Columbus Heavyweight title back next week. AJ Steele defeats Amien Rios after hitting the Steele Driver. After the match, Death Row attacks Steele. The big screen showed Jonathan Davis and "The 80's Guy" John Bogie. Bogie was excited about the upcoming tag match and said that him and Davis are a good team, but he was disappointed about Davis not doing the Gary Coleman bit. He then showed Davis a wig and Davis told him that he wasn't going to do it. John Bogie and Jonathan Davis defeats Randall Johnson and Joshua Charles after Davis pins Charles with a schoolboy. At first it looked like Jonathan was threatening to walk out because his usual music started and then was replaced by the different strokes theme. After the victory, Billy Roper interviewed Bogie and Davis. Jonathan said that he has no problem with Different Stroke, but that he does have a song for Bogie. Some goofy song started to play, and Bogie started to do the robot dance. Everyone laughed. GCW Heavyweight Title Match Scotty Beach (c) retains by defeating Bull Buchanan by DQ after Johnny Swinger ran in and attacked Beach. Buchanan and Swinger starts to argue after the match. It was announced that Michaels, Inc., members Absolutely Solid Gold Shaun Banks makes his GCW return. |
