The crowd of 115 was treated to a surprise as a returning GCW Heavyweight champion was the mystery opponent for current GCW
champion, Johnny Swinger. More on that later.
Randall Johnson and Vordell Walker defeated Frankie Valentine and Tex Monroe after Johnson nailed Valentine with the Celtic Cross.
Out comes GCW Commissioner Bo Oates for an interview with Billy Roper. Bo says that he and Scrappy McGowan are the only ones in
the current GCW who knew Fred Ward, and that Bo knew Scrappy since he was six years old and that Scrappy disappointed Scrappy's
dad, his son, and Fred Ward himself. Bo then made another match for the already packed Fred Ward Memorial card as he will be
teaming up with John Bogie to take on Cru Jones and Scrappy McGowan, and Oates will be putting his commissionership on the line.
Then out comes Johnny Swinger and he complains about how GCW is against him being champ, but told Oates that the only way he'll
lose the title is if O.J. Simpson comes and steals it. He threatens Oates when GCW owner Diane Hewes comes out and tells Swinger
that she, not Oates, signed the match, and that she'll introduce Swinger's opponent right now. Out comes former GCW heavyweight
champion, Sonny Siaki. Siaki and Swinger stared each other down.
John Bogie defeats Orion Bishop (w/ Wicked Nemesis) after hitting a lionsault.
Chris Stevens, thanks to a hotshot from A.J. Steele, defeats Deathrow after hitting a running neckbreaker.
A.J. Steele defeats Thug Rowe after hitting a twilt-a-whirl one arm side slam.
The crowd watches a promo from Scotty Beach. Beach says that he will defeat Banks in his dress vs. weasel suit match next week and
make Quentin Michaels wear a weasel suit.
A Bull Buchanan promo was shown on the big screen next. Bull said that he will be on tour for most of October with Japanese promotion
NOAH, and said that he will take the GCW title with him to Japan and defend it against everyone there.
Shaun Banks and Cru Jones defeats Bull Buchanan and Scotty Beach when Jones pinned Buchanan with a schoolboy as Bull and
Scotty were arguing. After the match, Buchanan and Jones brawled to the back as Banks attacks Beach. Banks tried to put a dress that
he brought out with him on Beach, but the Beach Boy fought back and drove Banks out of the ring.
GCW Heavyweight Title Match: Sonny Siaki defeats Johnny Swinger (w/ Quentin Michaels) by countout. Swinger remains GCW champion.
As Swinger was backing up, he bumped into Bull Buchanan. Swinger then tried to get Bull to punch him, but Siaki did the honors instead.
Bull chased MIchaels out of the building and Siaki ran Swinger out.
Siaki gets on the mic and says that it feels great to be back in GCW and that he wants to help GCW to become the top promotion in the
south. He then said that he'll become the GCW champion once again.
Bull gets the mic and says that tonight Swinger can run all he wants, but next week Swinger will have no place to run.
