NWA Top Rope results from the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, TN, with all the stars of Southern All-Star Wrestling. Attendance
was 180.
1) Hammerjack won a battle royal to earn a future title shot at "Boogie Woogie Boy" Gary Valiant's NWA Tennessee Heavyweight
Title
Teddy Tender worked this match announced as Big Bully Douglas. Indian Outlaw suffered a legit injury when taking the bump when he
was eliminated. Somehow, his ear got snagged and he ended up with 22 stitches.
2) "Wildthing" Will Owens & "Sweet" Teddy Tender beat Lennox Lightfoot in a handicap match
It was scheduled to be Tribal Nation, but Indian Outlaw was in the ER.
3) In a Ladder Match for the NWA Top Rope Jr. Heavyweight Title: Rick Santel (with Paul Adams) beat Arrick Andrews to win the title
The ladder broke when Santel suplexed Andrews onto it. They managed to get it somewhat back up. Finish saw both guys battling on
the ladder and knock each other off and the ladder flopped over and took out referee Ricky Bell. With Bell down, they both climbed for the
belt again. The belt was snagged on the cord holding it, so both came down without it. With the belt stuck and the ladder busted, they
improvised a finish with Andrews swinging up into the rafter and shimmying across to where the belt was hung. Santel then did the
same so they were handing upside down on the rafters exchanging right hands until Andrews grabbed the belt and dropped. It was more
dramatic than any planned finish. With Bell still down and Andrews celebrating, Santel dropped from the ceiling and hit the Rick kick.
Santel grabbed the belt, Bell came to and seeing Santel with the belt, declared him the winner. Said to have great heat and cause
security to work overtime. As Andrews protested to referee Ricky Bell, Hammerjack hit the ring. Santel, Hammer and Adams worked over
Andrews and left him laying.
4) Hammerjack (with Paul Adams) beat Arrick Andrews
Ugene was announced as not being there (he canceled to fly to Las Vegas for the NWA Showcase TV taping). Adams went to delare
Hammerjack the winner via forfeit. Andrews came out and Mike Sircy ordered a match. Finish saw Adams set up the slegehammer in
the corner and draw the ref, while Hammer reversed a whip into the corner and drop toe holded Andrews into the sledgehammer. Ref
turned around 1-2-3.
5) "Boogie Woogie Boy" Gary Valiant (with Miss Boogie) beat Kid Kash
6) The Bomb Squad beat Homicidal Tendencies via DQ
Tendencies retained the NWA Top Rope Tag Titles. Cocky Cody & J-5 spent the entire night under the ring and came out to cause the DQ.
