A crowd of around 400 people gathered at the Fishcrow Arena to watch the Independent Wrestling Network’s live wrestling action. The evening started off with Billy Roper calling out IWN CEO Dwayne Bell to the ring. There was a table set up in the ring. Bell said that a fan was celebrating a birthday so they were going to have a party. He called the fan to the ring. As the fans were singing happy birthday, the Southside Trash, thankfully, came to the rescue. Rowdy got on the mic and said that they were going to have a birthday celebration Trash style. Raunchy then said that a party without the Trash is like a sandwich without Miracle Whip. He did a rap song which would make Tupac thank God that he’s dead and couldn’t hear it. The funny part was when the Trash put the cake in the birthday guy’s face. This brought out Buff Bagwell who was beaten down by the Trash and Bell. Well you can say that he was beaten down by all three members of the Trash considering Bell was once Big Daddy of the Southside Trash. Out came Frankie Valentine and Adrian Hawkins for the save. Bagwell challenged SST to a 6 man tag match. Match #1 Referee Steve Miller Simon Sermon and Thomas Briton defeated El Loco, Jr., and Amien Rios after Sermon nailed Loco with a move that started out to look like a Crucifix powerbomb, but turned into a faceplant. Out came IWN Commissioner Eddie Phillips. He said that he would grant Bagwell’s request, but there was a problem. The problem was that the SST were one man short. He then called the members of the board to the ring as the fans chanted for them to put in Big Daddy. Bell came out and told Eddie that he couldn’t wrestle, and that his attacking Bagwell was just him really getting caught up in the moment. Phillips then reminded Bell that there was an agreement between them that one partner can overrule another with the unanimous vote of the board. The board voted that Bell would be Big Daddy for the night and would don the wrestling tights. Match #2 Referee Billy Tyne Ron Stalker defeated Josh Stone after hitting a superkick Match #3 Referee Steve Miller Rob Adonis versus Jason Cross was declared a no contest after Sermon and Britain interfered. At first the match was declared a DQ win for Adonis because Sermon and Britain attacked Adonis. As they held him for Cross to hit, Cross turned the tables on them and attacked them. Miller then declared it a no contest. After fighting the British off, Adonis and Cross challenged Sermon and Britain to a match for next week. Match #4 Referee Steve Miller SouthSide Trash (Rowdy, Raunchy, and Big Daddy) defeated Buff Bagwell, Frankie Valentine, and Adrian Hawkins after the Trash were able to block outside in sunset flips for the pin. Match #5 Referee Steve Miller IWN Heavyweight Title Match Mr. Hughes retained the title against Mr. Columbus after using a loaded fist to knock Columbus out. Match #6 Referee Steve Miller Chris Stevens defeated A.J. Steele after hitting the flying elbow drop IWN will be having a 2 day event on May 2nd and 3rd to celebrate their grand opening.
