Notes: During the match between Mario & Al Galento and Buddy Fuller & Chief Little Eagle, Fuller injured Al Galento’s foot.  The Galentos had been the reigning Southern Tag Team Champions since they defeated Joe Scarpa & Chief Little Eagle on June 11, 1965, in Atlanta.

Notes: This was for the “Live Atlanta Wrestling” television program hosted by Ed Capral.  Capral announced that Paul Jones made a decision to declare the Southern Tag Team Title vacant, as it had been learned that Al Galento would be unable to wrestle anytime soon due to the injury suffered on June 18, 1965.  A tournament was announced for June 25, 1965, to determine new champions.
