DECEMBER 22, 1967 (FRIDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – ATLANTA MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM [P]
(Paul Jones – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling)
> One-Night Tag Team Tournament: the Gauchos defeated Bob Armstrong & Bobby Shane; Ramon Torres & Mr. Wrestling defeated Stan & Butcher Vachon; Lars & Gene Anderson defeated Ray Gunkel & Chief Little Eagle; Enrique & Alberto Torres defeated Kenny Mack & Oki Shikina; Torres & Mr. Wrestling defeated the Gauchos by disqualification; Torres Brothers defeated the Anderson Brothers; Torres Brothers defeated the Vachon Brothers to win tournament
Notes: It was reported that the purse for the tournament was $4,000. When the tournament came down to a final round, Ramon Torres & Mr. Wrestling did not want to wrestle against Enrique & Alberto Torres, so they pulled straws to determine which team would wrestle the Vachons, as chosen by Paul Jones, despite their loss in the first round.
