MATCH RECORDS, MENTIONS, OR APPEARANCES IN GEORGIA

APRIL 28, 1931 (TUESDAY) – ATLANTA, GA – ATLANTA MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM
(Henry Weber – Promoter / Georgia Championship Wrestling)
> Stone Mountain Leavitt defeated Rex Smith
Notes: Soldier Leavitt took the name of Stone Mountain Leavitt after an Atlanta Constitution writer said the 300-pounder was as large as Stone Mountain after seeing his match with Tom Marvin on April 21, 1931.  This was his first match with the new nickname.  He had wrestled for some time, but quit after getting married, and had since returned to the business.
