| CLASSIC JACKIE FARGO
September 7, 2007 I was wrestling at the Nashville Fairgrounds. I think it was the early 1980s. I was teaming with Jackie that night, and we were wrestling Tojo Yamamoto and Gypsy Joe. I was still green as grass and a nervous wreck. I think I got to the building around 4:00 PM and the matches started at 8:00 PM. Was I nervous, or what? All the guys were already there, except Jackie. In comes sliding a Halliburton bag. That is one of the silver suit cases. Then in struts ‘the Fabulous’ Jackie Fargo. He had a Crown Royal bag with a full bottle. He started giving everybody drinks. Well, when the match was over, Jackie got in the shower and about two seconds later he walks out asking, "Has anybody seen my toothbrush!?” He turns around and his toothbrush was sticking out of his ass. Everybody popped. What a laugh. |
